ATL----->athens, GA.

A trip south was in order late last week to expand on a new opportunity in the form of some interesting work. Where south? Athens, Georgia to be exact. Home to a number of interesting things and bands like REM, B-52’s, The Whigs, Of Montreal and Danger Mouse to name just a few. While home to an incredible amount of music my mission was to meet with Ted Ciamillo, the owner of Ciamillo Components to discuss a new project that I’ll be working on. Now a name like this might mean nothing until I mention the name Zero Gravity. Yes, the uber light, beautifully designed brakes. Same person, same company, an incredible opportunity and all in a pretty rad town in Georgia that has a whole lot going on.

I’ll leave it at this. The ideas and implementation of Ciamillo is next to none. Keep the dialed tuned for more, there are some larger than life ideas that’ll be happening soon…

Downtown Athens, Ga. Home to UGA, and a whole lot of fun.
Zero Gravity and number of other project call this Cyprus timber framed building home. Everything is made/created in this building.
One of the nights out on the town included seeing this David Bowie cover band, Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars, at the Georgia Theatre.
More design and less bike shop work is now in my future.
