That's how the day was spent. The lead locomotive was lost midways thru the first lap and just a bit after Chris caught on to me. We alternated between 5th and 6th the entire race getting just with in striking distance to 4th but never catching on. A tough day on the bike was made better by a great teammate to share the pain with. Thanks to Chris and Michelle and all the support Adventure 212 has given throughout the year.
