late.

But better that than never.

Somehow managed to move myself up a spot this past weekend at UTCX #3. Really still pretty amazed I stayed in the group.

From the first lap two were off the front. Third was dangling in between and I was yo yoing off a group of 4th thru 9th. We reeled in 3rd but 1 and 2 were gone. Our group of six pretty much stayed till the end of the race. With a half of lap to go I jumped, if you can call it that, in the twistiest part of the course and held it by a tyre length in the sprint to end third. That was the hardest race yet, especially with tired legs, still surprised I pulled it off.

Other than the couple of flats that plagued mine and Amelia's pre race the day was perfect. I've got a new sealant now that worked its magic after I plugged it in to the tyres. Its seriously magic. More on that in a bit.

Oh and more sick coverage from Shannon at MTBracenews.com. Yeah.
