Ridin.

That's been Saturday tradition. With a little later start, I met with Ali and we started south. Still not having that typical arsenal of routes I normally store in my back pocket, resorting to local knowledge has made the rides much more fun. Frankly, I'm impressed that the valley really isn't that limiting in terms of routes to take.

Eventually that southern route we started on, turned diagonal putting us at the mouth of Little Cottonwood. We split at this point, Ali rode away mumbling something about stopping on the way home for a 50 piece chicken McNugget for $10, I thought it sounded good but wanted to be able to finish the ride first...

South I continued eventually making my way, albeit slowly, up Suncrest. I'd been partially up this climb once while getting lost on the way home from work and it wasn't any less steep than I remember. At the top I flipped it and basically rode a dead straight north route home. The high 40s temps and 4.5 hours made for a pretty good day of riding.

Below is near the top of Suncrest. Not the best picture but none the less...
