RED ROCK RAMPAGE #1

First race of the year went off in a hurry over the past weekend. Traveled a few hours south to St. George Utah for the first stop in the Intermountain Cup Series. Fridays preride in shorts and a jersey with other KUHL mates had me smiling from ear to ear. There's something about desert single track, the views and oh wait, yeah, the mtbin.'

As with any race you always think about how you could've done better here or raced harder there. This is the case...7th on the day, but was hoping for a little better. Not far off from the front, but I want the front.

TOP 10:

1, Burke Swindelhurst (Team Give) 1.43.46
2, Alex Grant (Cannondale) 1.44.06
3, Bart Gillespie (Cannondale) 1.44.21
4, Rob Squire (Jamis) 1.44.59
5, Chris Holley (Gray Fisher 29er Crew) 1.45.59
6, Jason Sager (Jamis)
7, Tom Bender (Kuhl Mountain Team)
8, Scott Allen (Canyon Cycles)
9, Jake Pantone (Edge)
10, Rich Abbott (Revolution/Peak Fasteners

One month and we're back at it. Time to get some more riding and fine tuning in...
