Is apparently finishing 4th at every cross race. Last weekends 3rd must have been some sorta fluke.
First warmup laps had me ripping a dry dusty course. Fast forward an hour to just before the start. Hail and rain come down from above creating quite the mess and in the mean time really making me cold. Shivering on the line wishing I had gloves and long sleeves really led to the mediocre start which put me towards the center of the pack. With little motivation and hands that couldn't be felt I just wanted to stop and but on a blanket...but what kinda racin' is that?
So I chugged along behind riders that couldn't ride down slippery slopes and passed them when it opened up. With two to go I bridged up to my teammate David and we worked for a bit before I lost sight of him too. The pace wasn't all that high but remaining smooth(operator) was key.
4th. Not bad but really another 4th?
MTBin tomorrow, hopefully it doesn't snow to much...
Oh and props to Ali for winning the masters race in Kentucky today, he's dominating that category.
